A totally unique concept
This is the day is our unique concept in portrait photography. An all-inclusive premium full-day package that will not only be a fantastic experience for your family, but a lasting memory of a day in the life of your growing family. Here’s how it works.
We will meet you at your place at around 9.30am. Your place might be your own home, or could be a hotel or holiday home if you are a visitor to Cornwall. After a brief chat we will do our first shoot of the day – the family in their own environment. The family eating breakfast together; the children playing with their toys, or with their parents.
During this time we can also set up our mobile studio to capture some professional studio portrait images.
At around midday we head out together to a location of your choosing. Your favourite beach, park, field or garden – maybe somewhere that already holds special memories for you. There, we will provide you with a picnic lunch, which you will have chosen from our menu in advance, and we do the second shoot of the day. Our aim throughout is to capture the family at their most relaxed and enjoying the location and each other’s company.
At around 3.00pm we will pack up and head for an afternoon tea or coffee somewhere local (on us). We’ll finish the day by around 4.00pm, when we’ll depart. Tired, but happy!
Within two weeks of this is the day you will have the task of choosing your favourite images, although we will have spent many hours choosing the best and digitally editing before you see them. After a further two to three weeks you will have the excitement of opening the big package!
Your this is the day package includes:;
- Two/three photoshoots, including in our mobile studio (expect us to take anything up to 1000 photos!);
- A picnic lunch including wine;
- Afternoon tea or coffee;
- A beautiful hard-cover 12″ x 12″ coffee table book with 40 of your favourite images;
- A stunning 40″ x 20″ canvas of an image of your choice;
- Two 8″ x 6″ desk frames with images of your choice;
- High Res digital copies of 20 images of your choice on DVD;
- A discount of 10% off any further images purchased.
To celebrate the launch of this is the day we are also offering a complimentary slideshow movie of your day for all 2012 bookings (regardless of when you have your shoot day). This includes 100-200 of your images set to a soundtrack, and is normally priced at £120.
