The 2015 wedding season has officially begun! Easter Saturday was the big day for Zoe & John as they tied the knot at the St Ives Harbour Hotel, with their daughter Daisy, 40 family and friends, and special guest Ninky Nonk (that’s their beloved VW Camper).
After a cool and windy week, and a miserably damp Good Friday, Easter Saturday was a fine, dry day for the celebrations, and by the evening the sun had emerged for a lovely trip up to the Island with the bride and groom.
As always at the St Ives Harbour Hotel the day ran without a hitch, and the whole party had a wonderful day together. This was one of those weddings when we were made to feel more like friends than photographers, so welcoming were Zoe and John’s family and friends.
As we finished the day we were treated to the ‘Blood Moon’ – the deep red full moon rising over the bay. Apparently it is caused by the Lunar Eclipse, which was seen in the USA, and it’s said to mark the beginning of a new era. That’s certainly true for Zoe & John as they embark on their life as Mr & Mrs Garraway.
We wish them much love and happiness, and hope these first images from the day bring the smiles flooding back. Dawn & David xx
