Our second wedding of last weekend was for Lisa & Joe, supported by son Joshua and 60 or so friends and family who had travelled to St Ives to help the happy couple with their celebrations.

Bride Lisa was attended by Charlotte & Tina, who were looking stunning of course, but certainly matched by dapper Best Man, big brother Stef, and Ushers, James & Steve. Lisa was given away by her older brother, Paul, who was also the proud father of bridesmaid Charlotte and Usher James.

Lisa & Joe were married by the lovely Father Andrew Gough in St Ia Church, and then returned to the St Ives Harbour Hotel for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Our plan was to squeeze a beach shoot in before the wedding breakfast, but for the second time in two days the weather was being unkind, so we had to abandon that plan. But where there’s a will there’s a way, so with a little bit of rescheduling we managed to escape to Porthminster Beach with the bride and groom in the early evening before the party got underway.

We were privileged to be part of Lisa & Joe’s day, and to meet their lovely families and friends. We hope they love the photos and that they treasure the memories of their wedding in beautiful (damp!) St Ives. With all our love, Dawn & David xx
